2 days to release and Who is Sofia Jakobsson?

My name is Sofia Jakobsson and I’m a 3D artist and game developer. I care about beautiful and emotional gaming experiences and I strive to develop such games myself.

My main responsibilities during the development of the game was the creation of characters and over all art direction. I also worked on props and building blocks for the environments and puzzles and made some 2D works like the clue and achievement icons and the logo.

This is the first game title I worked on so it’s very special and dear to me. The Unmechanical project was the first step for me from being a student to becoming a professional, and I am very proud to see it finished and released. Unmechanical is for me a game about the bigger picture and about sacrifice.

4 days to release & Who is Markus Arvidsson?

I’m Markus Arvidsson and I’m a programmer and a bug smasher for Unmechanical. My role in this project has mainly been to make sure all technical programming and scripting problems are taken care of. Or to put it in another way: fixing all the problems that inevitably come up just before the finish line… I was also honored to build and upload the gold master to our distributors.

In addition to my main tasks I also designed one puzzle and helped polish the character controls and physics.

Working on this wonderful game has been a blast – I am amazed by the atmosphere and characters the designers and artists have put together. The finished product is something we are very proud of and I hope you all will like it!
